If you had to choose, would you rather know the date of your death or the cause of your death?

Definitely the cause, because that'd at least leave me with agency to delay it.

Date is better. Think about it. Say your cause of death is choking on food at the age of 80... Knowing you're gonna die at 80 won't cause any woes. But you'd have to spend your entire life worried every meal would be your last if you only knew the cause haha
