Is this mean?

I've worked at my job for 9 months. I still have a coworker who incorrectly pronounces my name.

I told him " I really think you do this on purpose. I've been here 9 months. You should know my name."

He claims it's not on purpose but it's just not common and that he's never met anyone with my name.

I said " yes you have met someone with my name. You met me 9 months ago so you should know my name. I'll call you Cameron ( not his name) until you learn my name"

Is that mean?

I mean, if you TRULY cannot pronounce a person's name, then why keep butchering it? Why not just say hey girl, or a simple good morning?

Do you get on with him otherwise ?

@revenant what does 'get on' mean? Get along? We don't talk much. He's in and out of the office all day. We have our clients so it's usually busy in the office. Plenty of downtime though for all. Such as now when I'm on my phone

@iamnikki Oh I was just wondering if he was being passive aggressive and doing it just to get under your skin.

@revenant I think he is. I told him ' I think you're doing this on purpose'
