What drove you guys to dump your shoes & socks and play in your bare feet?

Living in Africa for a few years when I was a child.Being barefooted was pretty normal and felt great.Then back home in England I kept that going.I was learning martial arts from aged 10 too which done barefooted.At senior school there was no school uniform required for us girls so in summer I regularly just went to school wearing short shorts and left my feet bare and loved it.Since the first week of April 2018 I have been 100% bare feet at all times.

@tallpowerhouseblonde Oh lovely, I have friends living in south Africa and their two children are always barefoot,even going to school barefoot. My feet have been 100% bare since 2014!

@tallpowerhouseblonde Oh yes incredibly tough and resilient I can happily go anywhere on any surface barefoot. Great you've been barefoot for 2 years too, you must gave tough strong feet.

@BarefootLouise I do,I can through broken glass with my bare feet and I kick tree trunks as part of my martial arts training to make all the striking surfaces on my feet hard with tough thick skin.The back of my heels and outside edges are very tough as well as my soles.

@tallpowerhouseblonde Well whilst I wouldn't deliberately walk through broken glass I could if I wanted to. Yeah I don't care what anyone else thinks I'm comfortable and happy with my decision to live completely barefoot

@BarefootLouise I walked through broken glass with my feet bare by accident once,just brushed off my feet and kept walking,it was my friend that noticed I had done it before I did.If a none barefooted tried to do what we can do their soles would cut to pieces.
