Are you an introvert or an extrovert?

When I was young I was deeply shy and it was only work that forced me to change my ways. As I've matured people who know me regard me as an extrovert but I'm not. I battle with insecurities, daily and I disguise them.I often wonder what this masqurade has done to my health over the years.

What are you?

Remember, introverts are the greatest mask wearers. So they can come as both extro and ambi but as I said being an introvert myself,we feel like, the more we shed our shyness and become outgoing we shed our originality.

But my friend, it's not like that. Even I had to let my guard down sometime and socialize, but yeah, I do it to my limit.

I pre-handedly let people know that I am a solitary person and that's the reason why my social circle is small yet filled with meaningful persons. But, to be honest I am quite happy about it. At least there are people who understand me and respect my differences and my choice and tastes.

You know, as we, introverts grow up, we learn to come out of our shell and experience things, but that doesn't mean that we abandon our shell, which, in fact is our true identity. With Time and life we manage to control our shyness and introversion but we still remain the same, that is, we are still introverts.

It's like the blood group. The quality of blood changes as we age but our blood group remains intact, which is our orginality.

It's pleasure to meet you, another fellow introvert.
