Remember, introverts are the greatest mask wearers. So they can come as both extro and ambi but as I said being an introvert myself,we feel like, the more we shed our shyness and become outgoing we shed our originality.
But my friend, it's not like that. Even I had to let my guard down sometime and socialize, but yeah, I do it to my limit.
I pre-handedly let people know that I am a solitary person and that's the reason why my social circle is small yet filled with meaningful persons. But, to be honest I am quite happy about it. At least there are people who understand me and respect my differences and my choice and tastes.
You know, as we, introverts grow up, we learn to come out of our shell and experience things, but that doesn't mean that we abandon our shell, which, in fact is our true identity. With Time and life we manage to control our shyness and introversion but we still remain the same, that is, we are still introverts.
It's like the blood group. The quality of blood changes as we age but our blood group remains intact, which is our orginality.
It's pleasure to meet you, another fellow introvert.

Im me. Everybody who knows me will see me in a different light. I can adapt to most situations and act according...but i wont pretend to be something im not to fit it. Im not an extrovert, but im not an intovert either.
Im certainly not always the calm balanced person most people see initially. But very few people see the person inside. Its not because i hide anything, but people only see what they want to see.

Extrovert when out with friends but that's just to cover up my shyness. I overcompensate.

I don't know, what do you call someone who's shy, has no problem being alone, but also likes to spend time with friends and even enjoys going to crazy parties?

I’m happiest alone. In a work setting, I can speak, present, train, lead. I’ll avoid a social setting if I can. I think we just learn to be what we have to be when we have to be it until we can breathe again.

@SW-User in terms of E, do you hope they have the same character. I've always hoped my two are confident gents as they grow into young men. Funny old world innit. We are what we are

@Ironicman She's definitely her own person. I hope she doesn't lose her sense of wonder and adventure. She has her quiet moments. She has her extrovert moments.

I am an introvert, not shy at all as being shy has nothing to do with being an introvert.

I grew up very poor and black kids beat me up when young so have alot of scars on face from their fingernails scratching me, so it all made me shy and introverted. Not wanting any sympathy fuck it just answering post.
