What do you find the most frustrating aspect of being sick?

For me it’s the nasal congestion, as well as the night sweats. It’s weird how my body responds in comparison to other people. When I get sick it literally always attacks my sinuses, in comparison of my mother, whom typically has to be pumped full of antibiotics because she easily can come down with pneumonia. My lungs never get affected. The night sweats has always been a sure sign for me that I’m getting sick because I literally hardly ever sweat. I’m always freezing to death.

At first, it's the sore throat. I find sore throats to be very unpleasant and it causes me to not want to eat or drink anything. The good news is, the sore throat often lasts only one day for me. So then I might have to choose the muscle aches because those go on for days and keep me confined to bed.

I count down the hours whenever I start getting sick because it literally runs it’s course for 24 hours, then it’s like I was never even ill. 🤷🏻‍♀️🤔 I think I physically heal fast too, as I’ve pulled muscles or sustained minor lacerations and it’s all sealed up the next day. I pray this pattern continues until I’m at an older age. @SW-User

I can usually handle most sick symptoms as long as I don’t have a headache. I don’t deal with headaches well.

I’ve suffered with severe migraines since I was a teenager, so I feel for you, but luckily they’ve become very rare in the past 2-3 years or so. I think it’s because my high anxiety has decreased immensely. @SW-User

I rarely get that, unless I have the flu. 🤔😷@SW-User
