Were/are your parents strict?

Not so much strict but old fashioned values I would say.

No mine was never strict. Hi by the way.

Yeah, mostly because we lived in the ghetto and they were trying to protect us from all of the bad influences.

When you look back you can see why they was strict. Now i have my kids and i am strict with them for the same reasons

I was a good kid so they didn't have to be but from my mid teens to early 20s I got outta control. By that time it was too late already. I'm back at the right track tho lolz

Not in the sense that they have loads of rules. But if I break one if the rules they DO have the consequences are severe. So in a sense, yes.

Mine eventually had no control over me and I was a very wild child.

They were actually pretty laxed

I suppose it was relative to the times. We had to get permission before going anyplace and they wouldn’t let us go unless either there was a set time we were returning or they had a number where we could be reached (this was long before cell phones). And being grounded, or losing privileges was not out of the question.
