Anybody here know the best way to deal with an addiction?

Distance yourself from people who engage in the addictive activity with you, and take up new hobbies and/or activities, so you don't get bored and fall back into the addiction.

Depending on the addiction I would go to a Doctor specializing in my addiction or a hospital,those large facilities a a waste

The willpower & self-discipline to not let it define you or overpower you.

Either professional rehab or if can't afford, substitute with another addiction

Not to interrupt or delay the addict when they need a fix.

Keeping your hands and mind busy, preferably both at the same time.
