Shortly after my Gran passed away my aunt mailed me her wedding band. My grandfather and her were together more than 50 years before he passed prior to her. Her fingers were so much more dainty than mine I could only wear it on my pinky finger. People suggested having it resized but I would never as it has a very old hard to see inscription of their wedding date and initials. I hold it very dear.
