Those thoughts are still there when ya sober up. It ain't worth it. I am a recovering alcoholic, trust me I know.

Not really. It just leaves you makes you think. though, you may not be thinking the same way.
But people are different.
still, its not a great way to deal with things. Projects that keep your mind busy. Thats how you spend time not thinking about things you dont care to think about.

No, dark thoughts tend to get worse! Happy thoughts tend to get happier, but you cannot turn off your brain. even in blackout, you wake up and those thoughts and feelings come flooding back!
CaptainCanadia · 41-45, M
Well yeah. but you're just borrowing happiness from tomorrow.
Only temporarily if at all
Aprism · F
Temporarily, well saying that it can accentuate them too depending on the person. Best to avoid drinking alcohol when feeling shit. But we have all been there.

If you drink enough, they might even never come back! I mean, because of the brain damage.

never drank. just go to sleep better than the hangover
LoveIsInTheBlood · 26-30
Normally I'd just go to sleep but I don't want to go to sleep.. And I have a couple of things to do... I just want it to stop... And there's a bottle of wine in the fridge..
In the past I've found that it helped, not as a regular thing though
