in tenth grade we had to make a speech on the best day in our lives.
Wish we hadn't been asked that. Its not fair. How would a kid know? And what if he shouldn't have thought so, at least in front of the other kids, who might not like him...

@nowic2 Every schoolkid is forced to answer that idiotic question..and while younger...how I spent my summer vacation,
The second one I can dig
but not the first. The teacher was the old fashioned cookie cutter conventional, follow the syllabus type. I still remember how some kids sneered as I talked.

@nowic2 no I really didn't, it was just one of a billion unkindest cuts.
And I learned that day that schoolwork itself was so unfair because the real lessons are never on the syllabus
