@Belladonna I have a bottle of absinthe that I’ve had for over a year. I can only drink a little bit in one sitting. 😵

@bijouxbroussard I've been curious about the stuff. Is it good? I'd it the same as they used to consume in the early 1900's? What kind of high does one get from it?

@masaca It tastes a lot like licorice. It's a somewhat hallucinagenic drunk one gets from my experience.

@masaca For me, a little goes a really long way, because it packs a wallop. But licorice (anise) is the overriding taste. Here’s the bottle, with the ingredients.

@masaca Yes, that’s right. I’m told that what makes it different from the old stuff is that they use less wormwood now. That ingredient was very toxic for some people.

@bijouxbroussard absinthe mixed correctly is great! I hear they made some improvements so people don’t jump out of windows after drinking...

@bijouxbroussard I see now that you addressed the improvement above. Wormwood just doesn’t sound like a good thing.
