Ever Have One of Those Days

where you don’t know where to start first?
Eat, workout, laundry, language lesson, clean bathroom, manicure, order online items... and plenty more. I think I’ll start with an energy bar.

Every day unless I have a rare burst of energy. I am thinking I need to get up earlier than usual & take a shower & hit the road running.

The time change has messed me up. Now I’m more behind than I usually am. @cherokeepatti

@Carissimi I woke up an hour earlier on Friday, took a shower, and was shopping most of the day. Felt like I had gotten a lot of things out of the way and thought it would be a good habit to get into. But now with this time change that hour early would be the same time as normal time to get up. I would have to set my alarm earlier & get up before daylight to get started. Oh well. Needs to be done though.

It does feel good when you can get an early start on the day, and get things done. I’m not falling asleep until around 2-3 a.m., so my sleep cycle is messed up. I used to wake very early, but now I’m sleeping in, and I don’t like it. @cherokeepatti

@Carissimi Before this school year I would get up & make the boy’s breakfast and pack his lunch. He had to get on the school bus early like 7 a.m. so after that I’d sit around and plan what I was going to do. Would put off shopping and errands until afternoon & then more people in the stores, more traffic & would have to rush to get home by 3:30 for him to get off the school bus. This year I take him to school around 8 a.m and then if I want to shop I head on over to the stores & none are crowded. Can take my time & walk around leisurely & clearance shop. I feel better as a result of this. I want to get things done by noon each day & relax in the afternoon now though.

I’ve always preferred to shop by 9 a.m., but now with the Corona Virus, the CDC is strongly suggesting that those 60+, or with underlying medical conditions avoid crowds, cinemas, flying, and stay home more, so I plan on shopping tomorrow, early, when the store is not crowded. @cherokeepatti

@Carissimi It is a lot more peaceful too, you don’t hear whining kids, screaming babies, big crowds of people...you can park very close to the door....basically have the store to yourself and a few other early shoppers.

Yes, I like that too, even without Corona being around. I don’t like crowds at the best of times. @cherokeepatti

@Carissimi me neither. And I go check the meat counter, got meat on clearance (it was not out-of-date surprisingly) for 60% off, several packages on Friday because I was there early after they put it out, this was at a locally-owned grocery store.
