Pessimistic.

Seen nothing since the stock market crash of '08 to make me feel as though neither business nor government has the first clue what to do.

You know you're in trouble when you hear senior Economists/Government officials use phrases like Quantitive Easing /Economic slowdown/downturn and the creation of things like 0-hour contracts in place of 'proper' jobs !

And we're still using these terms today. 12 years on !

The world is getting darker and darker. It’s through gradualism though that people accept the ever growing darkness. It will get much worse before it gets better. But you need to know the Lord, to escape the worst of it.
A little bit of both. It depends on how realistic it is to be optimistic or pessimistic.

I do my best to remain optimistic, but reality is catching up quickly.
