Are we good without spirituality?

I believe every religion has its essence and goodness. Let people believe what is good for them. However when we start to compare different beliefs and suggest that one is right over the other won’t it create conflict among people ? So aren’t we better without religion and spirituality?
I came across a post and didn’t appreciate the message much. What is your opinion on it ?

I am of the belief (sorry hope one more opinion is ok) that there are many paths up the same mountain and the only one who is lost is the one running around the mountain shouting that theirs is the only way.

@curiosi Yes, that explains everything :)

I personally believe religions are superstitious nonsense used to manipulate people 🤷🏻‍♀️ However, a lot of people benefit from having those guidelines, especially if they’ve not been born into a life that has room or incentive for the existential delving that cultivates self sustained ethics. What we need is more tolerance across people’s, which may include accepting the bitter reality that true diversity at its most harmonious is tribal, not a crockpot

@DamnFeelz That’s right. Spirituality is used for guiding people however some people use it for manipulating others.

@Kingfish28 That’s fair enough. But brainwashing others should not be encouraged.

I don't understand why people get narrow minded when it comes to spirituality and religions when in fact it should be the opposite.
Mohana · 46-50, F
@eMortal You are absolutely right.

Religion is interpreted to mean what the believer wants.
Mohana · 46-50, F
@User41 Exactly that is the problem.
