What was the last childhood dream you satisfied?

Today I had a humorous realization. I was a pretty jaded, contemplative 10 year old. I signed the Voluntary Human Extinction Movement petition (a vow to not make babies for various philosophical reasons) I joke with my boyfriend about this shrug/laughing that plans change. He made a good point though: Since I鈥檝e only created 1 small human mathematically that鈥檚 still insufficient for population growth, so I kept promise. 馃槅馃槅馃槅 That means I have successfully lived 3/3 of my childhood dreams:
Feed a seal
Be an artsy vagabond
VHEM

馃槀馃槀馃槀 Go me

Well, I guess that鈥檚 not entirely true. I never did find that Willy Wonka edible garden incarnate.

Mine? Finally having a fairly stable relationship. It took a long time for that to happen, probably because I was too timid and shy to make it happen sooner. But it's funny, I always thought, as a kid, that once I finally had a good man in my life who truly loved me, I wouldn't need anything more, that that would be enough. But I was wrong. I've found out that there's much more to life than that. But it does help.

I don't recall having any childhood dreams.
My dad told me, when I was very very (too) young, "It's good to have dreams, but they won't pay the bills."
That crushed a whole lot of the standard childhood experience.
