Men are expecting gifts for Valentines day?

I didn't realize boys actually cared about this holiday until my boy said "your favorite flowers are camellias, right? That's funny, since your name is Camellia. Ha. Yeah. Well, my favorite is carnations. If you didn't know" 😂 a not very subtle hint that boys can also appreciate flowers on the holidays. He definitely appreciated the meal I made more though haha

@AmmieBell I know when I was a kid the big deal was to get penny valentines. And the boys liked getting them, too. 💝

@bijouxbroussard in my study group in elementary school, we were required to get or make everyone a Valentine's card. You could tell who liked you and who didn't based on how pretty yours was 😂 I got Google eyed ones when I was like seven and remember giving my friends cute cats and puppies, and giving the boys that bullied me awful donkey ones lol
