What is masculinity to you?

Is there a basic, standard definition of masculinity? In this day an age do you think that masculine representation is important?

Honestly it means nothing to me 🤷🏼‍♀️ There is no standard of what is masculine or what is not

@DragonSlayerr There absolutely is, a very small group is just trying to make it seem like everything is all equal, which simply is not true at all.
DragonSlayerr · 26-30, F
@dondon I meant that as a personal opinion lol not a generalized statement. My bad!

@DragonSlayerr Are you trying to tall me a person with a mustache drinking beer and a person in a smooth silk dress nurturing children are equally masculine and feminine to you?🤔
DragonSlayerr · 26-30, F
@dondon welp no. But I don’t see either as particularly “masculine.” or “feminine.”
Just two different people doing things. 🤷🏼‍♀️
Ju feel me?

@DragonSlayerr Are you a straight female? If so are there any manly standards that you have when desiring a man? Can your man ever be too feminine? Does it matter in families? Do children need both examples? If you have zero thoughts on masculinity Im curious.

@REMsleep I am a straight female yes. I don’t think I really have any “manly standards” when it comes to the guys I like. Other than the fact that they are male lol. I find a range of different guys attractive. It would take to long for me describe so I’ll give you examples. Jason Momoa? Hawt. Yuzuru Hanyu? Hawt. Both look completely different but both are men I am attracted to. There is no such thing as “too feminine”. Like what does that even mean??? Children should learn what they are comfortable with. If a child needs examples of “masculinity” and “femininity” in order to understand. Then they will ask for it.

@DragonSlayerr Wow you honestly think that children "ask for examples that they need". They most certainly do not. They don't know enough to ask for what they need. Its mostly up to the parents.

@REMsleep i study children/childhood and they’re actually a lot smarter than you think. I mean if you have kids and spend time with them that’s different. But that isn’t enough to make such a statement. I’m not saying that parents don’t have an affect on kids or that kids aren’t shaped by their habitus. But there’s more to it than that. Kids know more than you think they know. They just don’t tell you.
