I came to my attention recently that most people have never harvested their own meat. Whether through hunting or farming, have you ever killed and butchered your own meat?

Many would not prefer to hunt animals for food, or even purchase meat of animals from a super market or butcher. Others may not possess the skills and abilities to legally hunt, take an animal and have it done by a butcher. I've experienced, bison venison, and if well prepared are delicious pieces of meat. Personally I'd buy from a butcher, but as I said, I've had prepared game foods and found them very enjoyable.
