I came to my attention recently that most people have never harvested their own meat. Whether through hunting or farming, have you ever killed and butchered your own meat?

Νo we don't have our own animals (in my family) but sometimes I've seen butchering animals that are about to get eaten. Actually this happens before Easter in my neighborhood in the village, they skin and kill the lamb so that it will be ready for the next day. When I was little I would find it so disgusting, mainly because of the smell and the blood which was all over the street. I got used to it though.
