Are there subjective truths?

TakingBackMidgard · 31-35, M
Subjective things depend on your own ideas and opinions: there isn't any universal truth. Subjective is the opposite of objective, which refers to things that are more clear-cut. That Earth has one moon is objective: it's a fact. Facts are objective, but opinions are subjective.

@Gouzi IV there is other intelligent life out there I’m sure they will know that there is a system of amounting.

A is less then B, C is more than A and B.

In a natural universal way where atoms make up everything. A different amount of proton and neutrons will make up a different element subsequently making a vast array of what we call the universe.

@Gouzi ... I just answered your question

Clicking a 'like' button might count as one.

The statement 'I like this thing' seems to be subjectively true.

What would that even mean?
Gouzi · 26-30, M
@DDonde Mathematic truths.

@Gouzi Like 1 = 1, A^2 + B^2 = C^2, etc?

@DDonde The problem here is this. Did we discover mathematics in the universe, or did we invent it in our minds?

If the first is true, then where do numbers exist? Where do these truths exist? They must be metaphysical.

If its the second, then mathematic truths are subjectively based.
