My close friend is 43 what do I get her for her birthday?

I’m 23 and I have no idea what a 43 year old lady would want.... any suggestions?

Sorry, but how "close" can you be if you _truly_ "have no idea what [she] would want" for her birthday...? Don't you know any of her interests, hobbies, likes, wishes?
