@Fernie I've never heard of that brand. Where do they make that? Where I live we have Schweppes.
chrisCA · M
@NankerPhelge Schweppes is also sold in Canada.

@chrisCA I was asking about Bawstin. Do they have that in Canada? I've never seen it in the UK.
chrisCA · M
@NankerPhelge Maybe. I have not heard of Bawstin.
NankerPhelge · 61-69, M
@chrisCA Fernie was the one who mentioned it so she must know where to get it.

@NankerPhelge "Tonic" is what we called 'soda' No one ever said "POP" or "soda pop" unless they were from another state

@Fernie I've heard it called "soda water" before now. I heard that on a ship so it may have been English or French in origin. However, I was asking about Bawstin since you seem to be the only one familiar with that.

@NankerPhelge Here we have soda water...it's just bubbly water...not like coke and ginger ale and stuff...am I telling you something you know already?
NankerPhelge · 61-69, M
@Fernie I thought it was bubbly. The drink I was told was called "soda water" was bubbly. I was 10 at the time and at first I thought it was lemonade until I was told otherwise.

@NankerPhelge soda water IS bubbly...but it isn't soda...like Coke...it's drunk with fruit flavors or plain for adding hard liquor. It is also referred to as Tonic water...too damn many names
