How long is it acceptable to leave Christmas decorations & lights up?

@SW-User us too ( at home) here at the farm the tree and ornaments are already put up , the decorations are down and put away . Just the outside lights to contend with ... and we have a couple guys that do that for us .

@TexChik Yeah I’m just not motivated to deal with them day after New Years... and I’m in no hurry. I rather like them. So pretty to look at. I still have guests coming over so... 😀 I understand about the farm! 👍🏻

@SW-User we’ve had blizzards that we have had to run from before and we had to leave in a hurry and we had to deal with it in March ... ugh ! I hated that . So we put it up . I’m a little OCD

@SW-User but we put it up when we are out here before thanksgiving 🤷🏻‍♀️. Just a fun tradition . The house is all christmased out for Thanksgiving .

@SW-User yes we do . A lot of the cousins ( parents ) don’t do that . Some of their kids have only ever had the holidays at our house their entire lives . Some sleep over in sleeping bags by the fire on Christmas Eve ( not the Santa believers ) because everything is so festive and fun . I love having them , and they love coming to Aunt Susan’s ! 😉

@TexChik I’m working today. The usual weekend people took vacation . I was only off Christmas Day so yeah I’m stuck here today. 😢
