Have you ever lied on your resume

Did you get job ?was it a bad idea?

I always lied on resumes. Employers are going to lie to you, you might as well get off to a good start by lying to them. I often got the job.

Yes I did ... on my one and only interview . I lied when they asked if I had ever been arrested . I had been , twice in 8 weeks ... for fighting at school. Knowing a little something about the law , I knew that since that occurred while I was a minor my records were sealed and unavailable for review. I did get the job and under a fit of conscience I told my “boss” what I had done and that I couldn’t accept her offer because I wasn’t factual . She just stood up and hugged me and said she knew all about that ... and that a girl has to fend for her self , then she told me “ don’t be ridiculous , of course I was going to take the job . I have worked for her 19 years .

yeah I stopped being a doormat in the final year of college and started to lie very confidently for projects and jobs too; it only works if you can grasp concepts easily tho

I've exaggerated quite a bit, but never outright lied.
