Online I can open up that bit more in real life I find it harder .

BlueMetalChick · 26-30, F
It doesn't differ all that much, to be honest, but sometimes I tend to be a little less aggressive and hotheaded online than I am in real life.

IRL you are often seen how folk want to see you. Family will see you one way.
If you are part of a group, you'll have a role or function that people will associate with you as being part of that group. (The quiet one; The funny one; The smart one etc)
Online you can be anyone you want to be.!

Not at all.

I am more opinionated and expressive online, especially users on SW know me more than anyone irl as I post too much here 😂
PepperMint · 26-30, F
I feel more accepted online, that's it, which is why I'm more expressive on here

Condescending in real life, apparently
I don't know how to act with people in real life

My true depressed self online
MartinTheFirst · 26-30, M
That's good, we need to express ourselves somewhere.
fluteacorn · 22-25, F
It really doesn't differ.
thinkincubes · 41-45
There's no difference whatsoever.
rebelliousgal · 31-35, F
Pretty much the same

@lubecian: The times I've tried to open up people just exploit my weaknesses. :/

I'm probably more reserved in real life...but other than that I'm more or less the same.
MartinTheFirst · 26-30, M
It differs a lot. Online I write a lot, in reality I barely speak.
FeetAreFantastic · 41-45, M
I'm more talkative and more open here. That's all the difference.
