I Have Praise for President Trump!

The president is expected to or perhaps has now signed the PACT Act today, a bill that makes intentional cruelty towards certain animals a federal felony. The bill passed with bipartisan support in the House last month, and the Senate on Nov. 3rd.

@Piper Not out of necessity or importance. But to save face. He’s doing the same thing now with the whole police thing.

@MsAnnThropy I suspect he signed it not just because it passed with unanimous support in both the House and Senate, but because it would have [i]looked[/i] "bad" if he had not done so. The abhorrence MANY voters feel towards intentional cruelty inflicted on [i]certain[/i] animals, at least, is obviously not a 'partisan' issue.

As I mentioned before here, I'm giving him credit and "praise" for [u]signing [/u] this long obstructed bill. I had been wondering if he would be influenced to [b]not[/b] do it.
