@Degbeme Had a friend who was looking at getting into building replicas. He did a red one with white strips across the hood. It was a cool car. He took me for a ride in it. Scared the bejesus out of me! 😧 It just had the 351 in it. He talked about making one with more umph. I think lighting up the tires in 3rd gear was enough. 🤣

@WindTherapy My old neighbours boy friend has one. Never got to ride in it. Sure sounded great. 😍

@SweetMae He stopped in the middle of the road and dropped the clutch. It was sliding from side to side, the glove box flew open and business cards were flying out. I was trying to catch stuff and hang on both. It was a "ride".....not sure I'm going to lump "great" in with it. ;)

@WindTherapy I had a ride like that in a brand new Mustang Mach 1 Convertible .. he opened it up wide!! He finally let it drop down after he reached 130MPH

@Degbeme actually, the original shelby's used chevy engines. Carol Shelby even preferred them; the only reason he went with Ford is because they offered him a deal to use theirs instead
