The Boomers had a lot more economic opportunity, but the Millennials never got dragged into Indochina by the hundreds of thousands to fight a stupid war in a trap-riddled rain-forest. No amount of student loan debt and predatory rent pricing can ever compare to that catastrophe.

@BlueVeins Millennials fought our wars in Iraq and Afghanistan instead - ironically, often because they were trying to escape crushing student loans.

@QuixoticSoul That really doesn't compare, considering that those wars involved and killed far fewer people, and that everyone involved voluntarily joined the military.
