Between baby boomers and millennials, Which generation had it better or easier and why?

@Ynotisay Pointing our that some generations are luckier than others in terms of the world they enter is not blaming anyone. That’s simply manifestly true.

You can make a case why boomers are partly or largely responsible for the changes that came during their time at the top - but that’s not strictly required.

@QuixoticSoul Fair enough. But I see it differently. Personally, I'm really, really over the "Ok Boomer" shit. Not that you said it. You didn't. But the word "boomer" as in "I blame you" is getting really old - really fast. And when you think about it, isn't EVERY generation responsible for what the next generation faces? Yep. They are.

And when you say "luckier" I'm not quite sure what that means. Luckier that they had less advanced medicine? More dangerous cars, food, air? FAR less access to information? Were they lucky when they were drafted to fight and die in an unjust war?

To me, the "blame the Boomer" trend is just one more example of a generation unwillingly to take responsibility for themselves. I would NEVER EVER presume that's true for all millennials. Or even most. But it's some. And those who have turned to social media to express their faux outrage and "Boomer blaming" are the ones painting an entire generation with the same brush. And the FACT is they're blaming people due to age when it's CRYSTAL CLEAR who has had their finger on the scales. It sure as fuck isn't some 70 year old hippie.

So I think it might be time for the 'woke kids' to stop blaming everyone else, quit the whining and start DOING something about it. In the good 'ol days that was called "manning up." Today, anyone saying that is "cancelled" because, you know, feeelings.
