@SimplyTracie From what I know of Hawaii's climate, you'd feel very at home in the Caribbean or even the Bahamas. But most of the southern half of Florida is a humid mess because of the Everglades.
@SimplyTracie I really hope you get to Disney World, Tracie. You would love it. Years ago, I spent two weeks in the Magic Kingdom. It is a bit expensive now and very over crowded. Went to Universal on day trips too, when I was there. You are a sweet gal and deserve to go there!
One assumes this is inspired by Trump abandoning NY because he is being treated "unfairly" there. On that basis I guess the governor and Mayor would be pleased to see the back of him and his security and traffic issues.
I would take New York City over any place in Florida. New York has the best of any kind of food that you would want. They have the best museums and culture, and the people are friendlier once you get past the initial rudeness. People in the south are polite, but they don't care one whit about you if you're not in their social circle.
@SimplyTracie I like big cities. I'm currently living in Jacksonville FL, which has almost 1 million people. I wouldn't want to live in New York NY because of the high taxes and cost of living, plus the winters are much worse, there.
