How do you feel about owning a car?

it seems to me that more people are owned by their cars, than to be the owners.

Never thought about it. Have 5 and a motorcycle couldn’t be without one.

Where I live owning even a shitbox would cost me around 900-1000 a month so it's not really financially feasible. Especially since we have a good public transit system I just rent a car when I need one.

It’s useful to have one in order to run errands and help out other family members.

I feel my 'bleached white privilege' has served me well!

I haven't owned a car in fourteen years and hopefully never again.
