So frustrated?

I posted yesterday, my sitter looked annoyed as I asked her if there was a particular reason she needed a certain day off. I said I would look and get back to her but didn't as I knew I was seeing her today. Just now I got a text saying 'I really need to know about this date now please.' I replied saying I was planning on just telling her when I saw her today but she did not reply. Yet again she is pissed at me, was I really in the wrong?
If you said you'd get back to her and didn't then, yeah you were in the wrong.
[@890858,BluePlanet] Not the point, people can only go on what you tell them, hey, you asked, I gave you my opinion

[@890858,BluePlanet] That could be 6 hours from now. She could have her arrangements made for what she has planned or needs to do. It’s unfair to her.

[@890858,BluePlanet] I agree with bush. It's her concern, not yours, hence you need to show her the respect to make it your concern.

Yes, you were - you promised something and didnt deliver. Letting it slide til you saw her again meant she was uncertain about it, and she probably has some sort of planning or coordination that depends on the answer - maybe she was trying to book a ticket somewhere & there was a timeline on it, forinstance?

[@1725,firefall] Why didn't she just say then?

[@890858,BluePlanet] why didnt YOU just answer her, then? you seem desparate to make this her fault, when you screwed up

Is it hard to text her a yes or no? That would be considerate of you.
Not sure why it's your concern about why she needed that particular day off and yes you could have easily sent her a text with yes or no.
I’m assuming if she texted you and didn’t just wait to ask you in person she needed to know asap

You don't need to know why she wants a day off. She has a right to ask for days off. It is none of your business why.

maybe she wants you all to herself

[@957066,imo21169] No. That is unlikely
