Is there really a climate crisis?

I think it's all made up because the government are not doing anything about it

Well, the planet has had climate crises in the past, though none of the inhabitants knew about what was happening when it happened.

Something created the Dark Ages, likely a small comet. It had a worldwide impact.
Something killed off the dinosuars, either a large meteor or volcanic eruptions. Or maybe both.

There have also been a handful of ice ages.

The current crisis is real and it's likely due to a combination of population and industry, but there could be other impacts as well.

For those of us who are prepared, it won't matter what others do.

@JoeyFoxx Of course it matters what other people do. You can be prepared for a total collapse, though no matter how you slice it, that would suck no matter how extensive your preparations.

But you're more likely to deal with a long series of much more mundane sort of malaise, and outside of serious wealth there is really no way to truly insulate yourself from it.

@QuixoticSoul I respectfully disagree
