How many sides does a circle has.

I just hit upon this interesting question!
I think I am not good enough to answer this. May be our genius friends here can help 馃槀

None. A 'side' necessarily implies one of multiple sides. This is impossible with either the inside or outside of a circle. A circle is but a perfect closed-loop line.
@Success Technically true.

@Success That's a very interesting point. Thank you. Let's think further if we can build upon it :)

@Mohana Refer to part of Nothingness' reply.

A circle does not have any sides as it's made up of arcs, creating a continuous line that meets at two ends. All parts of a circle are of equal distance to the center of a circle.

@Success Equidistant from the center is an important point. If not I would have easily concluded on infinite sides :)
Thank you! Your points have been very interesting and informative :)

@Mohana I might add that a sphere has no sides, and is composed of infinite circles. Zero sides to the Nth is still zero sides. There's your proof.
@Success The math always backs it up. 馃槈

@Success Thats a valid point. Which side of the globe do we belong ? I can't answer this :)
Mohana46-50, F
@DarkHeaven Yes. But not convincingly though :)
@Mohana Only because we don鈥檛 know if we are describing a circle as a function or a concept. The answer changes based on which methodology we use to assign it鈥檚 value.
@Mohana It鈥檚 the mathematical equivalent of perspective.
