In Uganda they are destroying the last of their ancient rain forest and making being gay a crime punishable by death. What's the connection?

Here's the answer:

Hurt people hurt (other) people.

So do cultures.

Control. Control of the environment. Control over belief.

@Stilltryinghard And why do they hurt?

@DeWayfarer wrong

you don't know why they are hurting and wanna pass it on,

so I will tell you.

They pass it on because its UNCONSCIOUS and they don't know why they are suffering or THAT they are suffering sometimes or why they should NOT pass it on.

For that they would have to become aware of what has happened to them as a person OR a culture.

Once that reaches closure, to that extent they do not pass it on
or also become complicit when SOMEONE WANTS TO EXPLOIT THEIR TRAUMA AND BLINDNESS. Hence the rain forest scapegoating and gay scapegoating.

They kinda are forced to do it to themselves

Someone always thinks they are benefiting. Or they are benefiting AND lying about it.

@Stilltryinghard I don't understand just what you are saying. None of that to me even makes any proper sense grammar wise.

Have a nice day anyway. 🤷🏻‍♂️
@DeWayfarer How so.

Of course I do try hard and still doing it.

I was talking about exploited cultures and sometimes what the fallout is.
