Anybody from Mississippi or know about law?

I have a friend who lives in Mississippi and made a poor choice to move down with his girlfriend whom he was already having a ton a different issues with. As his bff, I suggested that He don't do it, know the problems are worse. He finally figured out a way to get her name of the lease, but she will not voluntarily go. He is a sweet guy so he isn't gonna throw her things out on the sidewalk. What can he legally do. He said there was some law stuff there that makes it a bit diffucult to get her out.

if he is so sweet then why did he get her off the lease ?

@MarmeeMarch Because she doesn't pay on the rent. She still lives in the house. It's also a whole host of different issues.
@sweetiepoo what legal document says she has to pay rent ?

@MarmeeMarch I'm sorry? There have been a host of issues. Technically they aren't even together anymore. They broke up long ago, but she refuses to move out. I'm not sure what you mean by your comment. If people rent from an apartment even without a roommate and son't pay rent, you will be evicted. so I'm not sure what you mean.
@sweetiepoo I mean if the person on the lease does not pay rent then that person can be evicted -right ? But suppose you are not on the lease - you are just being a guest i suppose. IDK maybe your friend should call a lawyer for cases like this. I am just looking at it from my view.

@MarmeeMarch Maybe, the whole situation is bad. I mean it's no different than if it was a woman in this situation, except that he just happens to be a guy.
@sweetiepoo guy - girl - it dont matter

@MarmeeMarch I know. That's what I'm saying.
