1889. Second week of July--in Paris, France.
@McCormac Because it will be hot. Nearing the "dog days" of Sumner. Makes for nicer days on the left banke.
Also the Exposition Universelle of 1889 would have been a few weeks old and the hype over the monstrosity that was the Eiffel Tower would be subsiding. And I COULD get to the top. Unlike now.
It was the time of Picasso, Monet, Matisse, Georges, Debussy, and Coco as a child.
