Menu is a word that for me derives meaning from the context. You don’t expect to see burgers on a drop-down menu on Safari.
Maybe they have a “drink menu” too and want to differentiate.

@Mamapolo2016 I suppose, but even your wording sorta points to the same sorta thing.. a drop-down menu. or a systems menu. where as singlualrly a 'menu'... (at least to me, it seems many others feel differently) implies 'food'. at least without context. like I wouldn't expect food if someone told me to check out the menu at the jigglehut.

@stound 😂 Jigglehut? Evocative.

@stound I once ordered spaghetti and meatballs at King’s Restaurant with ‘half the sauce.’
When my meal arrived the pasta on the right was smothered with sauce and the left half was naked.
I no longer make assumptions in restaurants.

@Mamapolo2016 ahhh, language barriers. my dad used to talk about being in japan, taking a broken gear to be rebuilt (it'd broken into 3 pieces). told the builders they needed it 'exactly like this one'. so they got one. exactly like it. the pieces could even be interchanged.
then they went ahead and got a not broken one made.
