What should be done to the women who call for rape of other women?
Sunita Singh Gaur, in a Facebook post on June 29, mentioned that Hindu men should enter the homes of Muslim women and rape them.
BJP’s Mahila Morcha, the women’s wing of India’s ruling party, expelled Gaur for posting hateful comments against Muslim women. “There is only one solution for them [Muslims],” Gaur noted. “Hindu brothers should make a group of 10 and gang rape their Muslim mothers and sisters openly on the streets and then hang them in the middle of the bazaar for others to see.”

If she is speaking from a position of authority and influence over others then she should be prosecuted for inciting hatred and violence. If she is just some nobody with no particular influence then she should be treated with contempt but allowed the freedom to speak. There is a difference in the gravity of observations made from positions of influence and authority and they should be treated more seriously.
