I used to
before I was given a second chance to be a Dad
Not go off and make a new family and try to forget the one I already had
I got a chance to have my family back
I haven't taken that blessing for granted again .
I have a son that was born after I got my girls back
Its funny in a way ,all his nephews and nieces are grown now
and he's only 11
But at least I can say when people try to tell me how to raise him
look at my girls ,,does it really look like I need your advice
He actually gets the benefit of that
I won't repeat some of the mistakes I made with them
I am blessed my girls turned out so well
A single Dad trying to raise girls
When I was left to raise myself and my brothers
I just did the opposite of everything my Mom did ,,
But I knock Mom to much I guess
like she said ,she did give me life
how I almost screwed it up was on me
