Why do we as a species continue to grow

On so many levels and at similar rates?

Why are we more “evolved” than other creatures? And why are we competitive?

That is the whole purpose of life. To learn and grow and hopefully learn from our mistakes. Not repeat them. How stale and boring life would be if we never did these things. We didn't just "evolve". we were created by our maker and we had/have a definite purpose .
