@GeniUs I do have a goal to one day get married and have kids (when I’m financially stable enough) so those last two I’m gonna have to pass

I got married, no kids, missus played around we got divorced she took half of everything after 2 years including what I brought to the marriage.
Got married again, woman from a wealthy family, we had 3 kids, she expected to do nothing all day because I could do it when I got home from work. Got divorced you have never heard such a case for poverty from her when she turned up in court! She got about 70% of the assets. I paid 25% of my wages (quite a significant amount) to maintain the kids. My ex said I paid nothing and the kids had to work to give her maintenance, my kids hate me. I know a good few cases of divorce worse than mine.

That is the short version!

@GeniUs Poor you! If I was 21 I’d take you out for a drink!

It's just a warning, never get married point being even if they have money, they'll have none by the time you get to court. I don't want you looking back in 5 or 10 years time and saying, 'that guy was right, I should never have got married.' If I can save one person, man or woman from being fleeced my words will not have been in vain.

@Djac17 I'd listen to him if I were you. If that lady really loves you then that should be enough. Marriage is a trap for people who plan to switch up and stop trying at some point down the road. Then you're fucked.

Dont do it. Do it symbolically if at all. Non legally binding.
