Why do extroverted people think everybody wants to hear about the minutiae of their lives?
I’m not really complaining - as an introvert in an extroverted culture, I’m used to it. I just think it’s weird. It would never occur to me to come in to work and launch a story (at everybody in the room) about my dog, my struggles with the local government, or the possibility that I might buy a camper.
I tend to get to the office and get right down to working. I occasionally respond to some bit of conversation (so people won’t think I’m stuck up), and also occasionally volunteer some not-too-personal information about my own life.
People are endlessly interesting....
