Do you have any weird superstition belief of your own?

The ONLY superstitious belief that I STILL abide by even today in 2019 (only because of my mom being so strict about it when we were kids) was to NEVER EVER EVER put shoes on a table or counter, because if you did so, you would have a lifetime of bad luck lol!!

Even though I know that's not true... I still (just in case) am mindful to never EVER put shoes(even NEW shoes) on a table/counter NOR allow my kids to do so either lol!

In my family, we aren't allowed to be too happy. Otherwise, bad things about to happen. Mostly true. Maybe the message is not to be comfort too much because we tend to make tiny mistake and cause catastrophe. We always control our behavior especially during celebration.

Yeah. I won't exchange salt directly hand to hand.
I have no idea why. But I won't do it.
