Do you ever get pressured to have children so you have family when you grow old?

Has that been part of the reason why you had children or feel the need to have them? What are your thoughts 🤔

Yep, I think about that a lot. I would never have one for that reason. But it does worry me.

@Annalea i see elderly people at my job who spend holidays alone and sadly die alone and their kids only came when it was time to pull the plug and burry them. They move and start a life of their own. So sometimes it doesnt matter. But sometimes the children are around and the bring you joy. Im uncertain about it too. Theres pros and cons to parenthood

@DarkSideoftheMoon oh for sure. Personally, I know I’m not in a place right now for children... but I do hear the clock ticking!

@Annalea same. I mean, i have an ok job and live alone and can take care of myself but im alone and having id like to have a man in my life who will be a great father so in that sense, im not ready. And id like to travel more first. And if i have a baby id like to go part time at work so we would need to be able to afford that too.
