Would you typically provide transportation for your wedding party or would they be expected to have their own transportation to the wedding ?

(Obviously not after the wedding just to the wedding)
I’m just curious how it’s usually done. Although, I’m sure it would depend on the bride/groom and their budget.

With us it's always been tradition to get the wedding limos to accommodate not only the bridal party but a large part of the extended family too.
@LucyFuhr I’ve heard of the extended family being included in the transportation as well. I always thought transportation being provided was common, but I think it depends on the wedding.

@Stark ...and like you said earlier, the budget and who's paying.

@Stark Wait! You're a bridesmaid, right? Can I ask if you had to pay for your own dress?
@LucyFuhr omggg yess. Everything. Lol, but I expected to pay for my own dress I get paying for that. It’s just everything overall is extremely expensive. :/ the dress was expensive, then I had to get it altered and hem which cost almost as much as the dress, then I had to get shoes, money for my hair, and I’m doing my own makeup and nails to avoid spending more money. Then the wedding is an hour away. I really seeing it being my last time being in a wedding unless it’s maybe family. My aunt’s wedding was a lot more convenient because my uncle is a designer and he makes dresses so he made all the bridesmaid dresses for free, my aunt pod for transportation, so al was expected was getting hair, makeup, and nails done. Which a family member did everyone’s makeup. So it was a lot easier 🤣

@Stark This is how you have an expensive wedding on a budget...you get everybody to pay their own way LOL

I hope you get a "return on your investment", in fun!
