Would you typically provide transportation for your wedding party or would they be expected to have their own transportation to the wedding ?

(Obviously not after the wedding just to the wedding)
I’m just curious how it’s usually done. Although, I’m sure it would depend on the bride/groom and their budget.

When I've been a bridesmaid I've had to get myself to the church for rehearsals and the ceremony itself. I was my sister's matron of honor and I still had to get there on my dime. 😅
@bijouxbroussard I understand having your own transportation for the rehearsal. I’ve always experienced transportation being provided for the wedding, but I’ve just realized it depends on the wedding and most importantly the budget they have for it. I just never realized, because every wedding I’ve experienced transportation has been provided. My boyfriend mentioned how I must have gone to fancy wedding for it, but I just assumed it was expected. It doesn’t bother me either way though I was just curious how most people did it.
@Stark I could see it being a budget issue. One friend of mine who was a bridesmaid for a bride from a wealthy family said they had a hotel suite for the wedding party---with rooms for the bridesmaids and the groomsmen, so that everyone would already be there for the wedding the following day. It was in Sausalito, so I can't imagine how much that set the family back. My middle sister had all the bells and whistles. I got married at City Hall, the youngest sister eloped to Vegas.
