Conflicted over work

I'm currently in the process of being hired by a big name tech company. Nothing is certain yet, but I've passed all the interviews and my recruiter is trying to find a team to match me with. If I get an offer, I won't be able to say no; my salary would get a major, major bump, and there's no way my current company would be able to justify matching it.

Now, where I'm conflicted: today, my manager let me know about a new demand for people in the company to take a certain type of training -- I had let him know that I was interested in doing this a few months ago. If I get the okay from my current project lead, I'll be getting shipped off to Dublin for a couple weeks starting next Saturday.

I can't help but feel a bit selfish for agreeing to do the training, knowing that I very well may end up leaving the company soon. On the other hand, if I declined the training, then it would put me in a bad position should I not end up getting an offer from the big name company.

I guess I'm looking for affirmation: am I doing the right thing by leaving all my options open?
