Love means different things to different people. Unfortunately, English only has one word for love, so it's meaning is contextually related to how it is used.
The love I have for a colleague is different than the love I have for a stranger.
I love my dogs. I love my children. I love my wife. There are similarities for sure, but there are stark differences.
I have loved in a virtual environment. It has always been sincere. Did it mean the same for me as it did for my virtual partner? I'm pretty sure it did each time.
But, it was never intuitive and it required many frank conversations.
Not unlike real life....
